Travi$ Scott is a gentleman who likes to get lit &#; on stage, off stage, and everywhere else. His label is literally &#;La Flame&#;. So for someone who loves rap so much they used funding that was supposed to spend for books and food while studying at the University of Texas to support himself while he tried to break through with his music, I can see why it would be infuriating to be faced with a front row crowd at your own show standing still, texting, or simply just not turning up to the degree you would expect for a rapper whose entire legacy is one of extravagance.
But during a recent performance in Houston, Scott &#; frustrated that some fans in the front weren&#;t going crazy enough &#; tried hurling homophobic slurs around in an attempt to up the energy.

“Yeah, man, I swear these old niggas kill me,” raps Travis Scott in his typical melodic flow on “Champain & Vacay.” The Houston star’s pushback against Clipse’s“So Be It,” where Pusha T’s ripped Scott for his “lack of loyalty” towards past mentors and friends fancy Kanye West and Drake, seems relatively tame. The irony, though, is that Scott isn’t adj anymore, either. Travis Scott Breaks His Silence on Transphobia Accusations
Travis Scott is finally commenting on the backlash surrounding his Astroworld cover art.
Earlier this week, Scott and photographer David LaChapelle shared different versions of the same shot. In Scott's version, transgender model Amanda Lepore had been edited out of the frame. "Amanda was taken out because she just upstaged everyone," LaChapelle wrote in an Instagram comment, telling another fan her removal had "nothing to do" with transphobia. To another fan, he wrote, "Everybody wants to explain everything with some phobia or whatever."
Scott remained silent on the matter, while Lepore took the high road. She commented that she had a "great" time being part of the "incredible photograph." While she didn't know exactly why she'd been removed, she joked, "A girl can't help it. Too distracting for the eyes. Upstaged everyone in the photograph.
